On a remote island in the Waitemata harbour in Tamaki Makaurau, Blair Konik & Donielle Brooke held their dream
wedding ceremony and dinner on the Mediterranean-styled estate, Tantalus Winery.
Making the most of all the daylight (and rain) Blair and his best men played 9 holes of golf overlooking the
beautiful Tantalus estate as we walked down the fairways.
Donielle and her bridesmaids took a different approach and eased into the morning with a slumber party-style
morning at their beachfront Airbnb. As the rain and clouds burnt off the boys finished getting ready and met the girls for a rendezvous.
Pulling up the Tantalus in a 1966 Cadillac De Ville drew a crowd as their intimate family members and bridal party cheered them into the patio.
Blair wore a tailored suit by PJ Johnston with Saint Laurent loafers. Donielle was dressed by Lunabea wearing vintage Celine strapped heels.
The couple's fingers were also wearing lab-grown diamonds by The Diamond Shop.
Blair and Donielle requested a full-day service split between digital, 35mm and 120mm (medium format) film photography.
For a full-day wedding service, it is typical to shoot through 10-15 rolls of film. During the Konik wedding, We shot through 10 rolls of 35mm Portra 160 / 400 film at 36 frames per roll.
With an additional 5 rolls of 120mm Portra 160 film at 16 frames per roll.
